Harnett County, NC (July 31, 2026) - According to local reports and statements from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, a woman and two children suffered serious injuries in a crash on NC-27 near Earnest Brown Road in Lillington.

The collision occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. Friday. Authorities said the woman was driving an SUV when she attempted to turn left into a private driveway in front of a pickup truck. The pickup truck struck the SUV and pushed it off the roadway, where the SUV overturned.
