The incident occurred early on Sunday, May 19, 2024, around 4:05 a.m. near the 4300 block of East W.T. Harris Boulevard.

Officers responded to calls and found Wade Burch, 57, unconscious and suffering from severe injuries in the travel lanes of the boulevard.
