The BMW was driven by 53 year old Florence Crawford Randall of Statesville. She was transported to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition. Two juvenile passengers who were also in the BMW were taken to Brenner Children’s Hospital and were reported to be in critical condition at the time of transport.
Bell Farm Road was closed in the area for approximately four hours as investigators worked the scene and crews cleared debris. Troopers stated that no charges are expected to be filed in connection with the crash.
