Durham, NC (July 27, 2026) - Information from local news reports and police statements indicates that a pedestrian was struck and killed on northbound I-885 late Monday night. Officers responded to the interstate between the Holloway Street and Cheek Road exits just before 10:30 p.m. and found the pedestrian after the collision with a vehicle.
