Yadkinville, NC (July 04, 2026) - Local reports and police statements indicate that a motorcyclist was injured in a collision involving an SUV at the intersection of East Main Street and North State Street. Officers with the Yadkinville Police Department responded to the crash at approximately 5:32 p.m.

Police said the SUV driver left the scene immediately after the collision, leaving the injured motorcyclist behind. The rider’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
