At the time of the pursuit, she was out on pretrial release. Due to this status, she was not issued a bond for the new charges. However, she received a $325,000 secured bond for her previous warrants and failures to appear.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol assisted in investigating the crash, and officials have confirmed that additional charges may be filed pending further investigation.
