Michael Williams has been practicing law since 1998 and brings almost three decades of experience to his clients. He began his legal career as an insurance defense attorney after first working as an insurance adjuster, providing him with valuable insight into how insurance companies evaluate claims, make decisions, and defend lawsuits. This background gives Michael a distinct advantage when representing injured individuals against powerful insurance carriers.
Since 2000, Michael has devoted his practice exclusively to representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. He has extensive trial experience and is deeply committed to leveling the playing field for individuals who have been injured through no fault of their own. Michael’s practice philosophy centers on ensuring that clients receive fair treatment, honest guidance, and justice throughout the legal process.
Michael is known for his dedication to his clients and his willingness to take cases to trial when insurance companies refuse to act reasonably. His experience on both sides of the courtroom allows him to anticipate defense strategies and effectively advocate for maximum compensation on behalf of injured clients.
In addition to his legal practice, Michael formerly served as an Adjunct Professor at North Carolina A&T State University, where he taught First Amendment law to upper-level journalism majors. His academic work reflects his commitment to education, advocacy, and the rule of law.
Michael is an active member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the Mecklenburg County Bar Association.
