Charlotte, NC (June 04, 2026) - According to preliminary information from local reports and police statements, a pedestrian was fatally injured after being struck by a vehicle near the Elizabeth area of Charlotte on Thursday morning. The crash was reported at approximately 7:35 a.m. in the 1700 block of East 3rd Street near Queens Road.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officers, Charlotte Fire, and MEDIC responded to the scene after receiving a call about a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.
