Durham, NC (July 02, 2026) - Information obtained from local reports and police statements indicates that four people were hurt Thursday morning in a head-on crash involving a GoDurham bus on Holloway Street in Durham.
Police said the crash happened at about 7:40 a.m. in the 1300 block of Holloway Street. According to the reported account, a GoDurham bus was traveling west when an eastbound vehicle crossed into the westbound lane and struck the bus head-on.
Seven passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash. Police reported that two bus passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two people were also inside the other vehicle, and both were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
