A female passenger who was also in the Camaro was temporarily detained but released without being charged.

Five vehicles were reported damaged. Traffic was heavily backed up Friday afternoon, particularly at Stoney Run Drive, while officials worked to document the extensive scene.
Stephenson faces a list of charges in both Nash and Harnett counties, including reckless driving, racing, driving with a revoked license, and several others. He was initially held on a $75,000 bond. Records indicate he had previously been cited for speeding, reckless driving, and driving without a license in Bertie County just days earlier on October 25, 2025.
