Linville, NC (May 21, 2026) - Authorities confirmed through local reports that a fatal head-on collision happened Thursday afternoon on U.S.-221 near the entrance to Linville Land Harbor. The crash involved two Jeep vehicles and led to the death of David Jones, of Newland.
