Bladen County, NC (July 06, 2026) - Initial information from local reports and law enforcement statements indicates that a motorcyclist died Monday after a crash on NC-87 during a pursuit involving deputies with the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at about 5:03 p.m. at the intersection of NC-87 and Kennedy Store Road in Bladen County.
