Keeping Track of Care After an Airlift

An emergency airlift can leave a family keeping track of information from the transport team, the receiving hospital and later appointments. Keeping those records together helps show when and where care was provided without relying on memory during a stressful recovery.

For each bill or insurance notice, note the provider and date of service. An insurance explanation of benefits is not itself a bill, so compare it with the provider’s statement before treating both as separate expenses. Questions about a charge can go to the billing office; questions about whether accident-related expenses may be part of a claim can be discussed with a bike accident lawyer.

Support After a Serious Bicycle Injury

When a bicycle collision leads to a hospital stay far from home, handling paperwork may feel like one more burden. Rosensteel Fleishman can discuss the circumstances of the collision and potential legal options while you focus on the immediate needs of the injured person. You can begin that conversation with the information you have, even if additional records are still being gathered.
