Greensboro, NC (October 26, 2026) - Four people were treated for minor injuries after a Guilford County Schools bus crash at Owls Roost Road and Battleground Avenue in Greensboro, North Carolina, according to Guilford County EMS. No one was taken to a hospital. Whether any of the injured people were students was not established.

Greensboro police received the call at 7:43 a.m. Monday. Guilford County Schools said 33 students were aboard the bus, which was taking them to Kernodle Middle School. Police and Guilford County EMS responded, with EMS reporting multiple emergency vehicles at the scene.

The school’s principal went to the scene to check on students under school protocol. Another bus arrived to take students to school, and some parents came to collect students.

The bus was towed from the scene. Greensboro police were investigating the crash when the incident was reported.

Records of Care Provided at the Scene

Guilford County EMS treated four people after this school bus crash without taking anyone to a hospital. For someone who receives care at a crash scene, the agency that provided the care is the starting point for requesting that treatment record, even when there was no ambulance ride.

A personal injury law firm can help identify records relevant to an injury inquiry, including an assessment completed before any hospital visit.

When making a request, include the date and location of the incident and the name of the person who received care. For a child’s records, ask what documentation the provider needs from a parent or other authorized person.

Delays in receiving medical records can leave a file incomplete. Keep the request and response dates so a pending record is distinguishable from one that was never requested.

Help With an Injury Inquiry After Scene Treatment

If you were injured in a school bus crash and are unsure what your treatment records show, an attorney can help identify gaps in the information and explain whether the circumstances support an injury claim. You do not need to assemble a complete medical file before seeking that explanation.
